You have until nominations close on the 19th of May (time TBD) to change groups which use '/' and are duplicates of groups already in the tagset to different nominations.
The following characters are duplicates. You have until nominations close to change them to a different character/group:

However, when signups open, you can choose whether you want to offer or request gen, M/M, F/F, multi, and/or other on the signup form, and will be matched accordingly. For example, if your request for Star Trek: The Original Series is 'group: Uhura & Spock (TOS)' and only F/M, you will be matched with a person who has offered 'group: Uhura & Spock (TOS)' and F/M (they may also have offered other characters and categories). You will not be matched with a person who has offered 'group: Uhura & Spock (TOS)' but has only offered gen and/or F/F and/or multi and/or other.
Please also note, again, that I am not policing nominations; if you consider a character chromatic, they are in. I'm not policing nominations. If your nomination hasn't been approved yet, it's either because A) I can only see a limited number of nominations and you nomination hasn't appeared on my screen, B) I'm trying to figure out how to disambiguate the fandom (since I'm not familiar with many of the fandoms, and I don't want to accidentally make wrong associations, this is necessary even when the character names are unique), or C) I can't find proof of existence (as in, does the character exist in the canon you've nominated them for?) and am still looking. It is not because I disagree with your nominations. In the same vein, if your nomination has been rejected, it's because it is a duplicate (I'm disambiguate so AO3 can't automatically reject duplicates). I will not be rejecting nominations for any other reason without a 24 hour warning.

When signups open, please only offer and request characters you consider chromatic. Guidelines, while provided, are not rules, and I won't quibble about who is considered chromatic, and who isn't.

Tagset & Nomination Form
- You may nominate up to 5 fandoms, with 5 characters each (a total of 25 characters).
- For large fandoms with many subfandoms: I will not be accepting All Media Types fandoms. AMT fandoms are difficult in an exchange with fuzzy parameters (for example, movie and book depictions of characters could vary wildly, with one version of the character qualifying and the other not) except in specific cases (ask if you're not sure), so please nominate characters under subfandoms. It's a lot less work for me, and much less of a headache come signups, when people are confused over which version of the character is in the tagset.
- You can nominate groups if you wish to. The format is “group: Character A & Character B”. The ampersand will be used for characters you want to see together in a gift. Please use the ampersand for romantic relationships as well. You can choose whether you want gen or ships in the signup form.
- Groups of up to (and including) five characters can be nominated.
- Crossover groups must be nominated under 'Crossover – Fandom' and must be in the format “group: Character A (Fandom X) & Character B (Fandom Y)”.
- At present, Original Works can't be nominated.
